Effaclar Mat is La Roche-Posay's dedicated mattifying moisturiser for oily skin — a lightweight gel-cream that controls excess sebum, minimises the visible appearance of pores, and maintains a shine-free finish throughout the day. The formula is built around Sebulyse, LRP's proprietary sebo-regulating complex, with clinically proven mattifying efficacy shown to be superior to zinc-based alternatives.

An everyday moisturiser that also functions as a make-up primer base. Suitable for use alone or under foundation. Non-comedogenic, fragrance-free, and dermatologist-tested for sensitive oily skin. The blotting-effect texture absorbs instantly on application.

SEBULYSE contains CAPRYLOYL SALICYLIC ACID (LHA), which regulates sebocyte activity and reduces the rate of sebum secretion directly at the follicular source. SILICA (and SILICA SILYLATE) functions as an oil-absorbing micro-particle that maintains surface mattefication by physically sequestering excess sebum as it reaches the skin surface. SALICYLIC ACID provides additional in-pore exfoliation to keep pores clear and minimised in appearance.

How to use
