Cicaplast Gel B5 is La Roche-Posay's specialist post-procedure recovery gel, formulated for use after aesthetic treatments, minor skin trauma, or wherever accelerated epidermal repair is required. Unlike the Baume B5 (which has a richer balm texture), the Gel B5 sits in a lightweight silicone base that creates a breathable, near-invisible covering effect — delivering its active repair complex without occlusive heaviness, making it suitable for use on facial skin during recovery.

Combining panthenol, madecassoside, and a Zinc-Copper-Manganese trimetallic complex, the formula addresses the key requirements of compromised skin: barrier restoration, soothing of inflammation, microbiome control, and hydration. Sodium hyaluronate provides supplementary moisture retention. Do not apply directly to open wounds or broken skin.

How to use
